ADVERSUS RETURNS WITH ISSUE #6

Well, Adversus is back! It's been about half a year since the last attempt at an issue - the ill-fated previous "Issue #6" - but at this time of writing, the "new Issue #6" is almost complete. Expect to see it around the end of July!
It probably should be said that Adversus will not be TST-focused moving forward. That is not to say that it won't mention or cover TST at all, but the decision was made to broaden the scope of Adversus to the wider "Satanic community" (for lack of a better term).
ISSUE #6 CANCELED
December 10, 2018
Regretfully, Issue #6 - which had been coming along nicely by early November - has been canceled. Furthermore, there will be no further issues of ADVERSUS for the foreseeable future, if at all. Even if it did hypothetically resurface, it would be a different beast than it has been to date, with a different focus. Unfortunately, external circumstances (over which we have no control nor say) have made the current format and direction of this publication redundant.
Nonetheless, a big thanks to everyone who has supported (or contributed to) this work since its inception. Your feedback has been greatly appreciated!
BLACK MASS TRANSCRIPT RELEASED

Ahead of the release of ADVERSUS Issue #6, I've published my full transcript of the Black Mass ceremony performed live by Satanic Philadelphia and The Satanic Temple on October 12, 2018, in Philadelphia. This is the "definitive" version and includes an introduction and annotations.

Issue #5 of ADVERSUS is out today and covers the recent Arkansas rally by The Satanic Temple. Also included are the transcripts of speeches by Lucien Greaves and Sadie Satanas, and an interview with the leaders of Satanic Arkansas.

ADVERSUS #4 FINISHED

ADVERSUS #4 gets a somewhat premature release with this issue, mostly to help promote some imminent TST events taking place in early June. The primary focus of #4 is to look at TST's spread to the European continent, since we don't often hear about what is transpiring over the Atlantic. Of course, that doesn't mean the homefront gets neglected either, with recap coverage of Jason Rapert's illegal monument resurrection, TST Arizona encountering problems with one of their annual charity drives, and Satanists adopting a Californian beach. We're also slowly adding Twitter links to the Community group listings as well (where such exist). This issue also ended up being the largest yet, so apologies in advance to anyone still on a slow connection who finds the loading time a bit longer than usual!

Yes, there's been a lack of updates recently. Yes, there wasn't a February issue. And yes, there WILL be a next issue and it's currently in progress - planned for an end of March release.

As a solo project, a sustained monthly release of Adversus was always going to be uncertain - and February threw enough "real life" commitments in the way that there simply wasn't time to write up a full issue's worth of content and still meet an end-of-month deadline. That said, Adversus #3 will be a joint Feb-March release covering both months and there is certainly no lack of material at this stage! Watch this space!

Work on ADVERSUS #2 is chugging along steadily and currently aiming for an end of month release (all going well). As previously mentioned, the main focus of the next issue will be community. In addition to a lengthy article considering the basics of creating and running a Satanic group from inception to recognition, there will also be two associated interviews - one with the leaders of a prospective chapter and the other with the head of an established chapter.

In respect to the latter features, I'd like to thank in advance Damien and Mara from the Allied Satanists of Indiana for agreeing to participate (and also Ophelia for facilitating it) as well as the wonderful Lilith Starr from The Satanic Temple's Seattle chapter. It is hoped that this issue will prove to be an informative resource for anyone looking to establish further Satanic communities now and in the future.

Welcome to the new and official NEFARIUM PRESS website. The decision to create this medium was borne from a dissatisfaction with using cloud storage (and social media) as a primary means of distribution for the ADVERSUS publication. Going forward, each new release will be published here and previous issues stored in the onsite archive.
It is also intended in the longer term that this site will offer alternative resources but it's still early days yet! At this point in time, I'd like to thank everyone who has supported ADVERSUS and provided inspiration to make it an ongoing independent project.
